Pancake Recipe for One
Ingredients
- ¾ cup All Purpose Flour
- ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Egg
- ½ cup Milk Whole, almond, soy, or your favorite milk
- 1 tablespoon Butter Melted
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and milk. Crack the egg into the bowl and mix well.
- Add the all purpose flour and baking powder to the bowl. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just mixed. Do not overmix. It's ok if there are a few lumps left in the batter.
- Spray a large skillet with non-stick cooking spray or add a small pat of butter to a pan. Preheat the pan slightly. Add ⅓ cup batter to the pan and let it cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. When bubbles start coming to the surface of the pancakes it is time to flip the pancake.
- Cook on the second side for another 1-2 minutes. Remove the pancake from the pan and continue this process with the rest of the batter. Serve immediately.
