Step by Step Instructions

Tips and Tricks
- Keep the double boiler on medium low to medium heat. Anything higher and you run the risk of burning the white chocolate. White chocolate is high in cocoa butter so it tends to burn quite easily.
- Make sure you line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. If you do not, it's likely that the fudge will stick to the square pan and you won't be able to get it out of the pan.
- Let the fudge cool completely for at least 4 hours, but overnight is best. Do not attempt to cut the fudge before it is completely cooled or it will be too sticky and won't cut well.

How To Store White Chocolate Peppermint Fudge
Keep leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. If you keep it on the counter in an airtight container, it will stay fresh for about 1 week. You can just take that container to a holiday party and share it with friends and family!
This fudge can be frozen too! Place the cooled and set fudge in an airtight container that is freezer safe. Freeze it for up to 3 months. Defrost it on the counter until it comes to room temperature and sure. You can also defrost it in the refrigerator.
Recipe FAQs
Yes you can make this microwave fudge instead. Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and microwave in 30 second increments until the chocolate is melted. Add the sweetened condensed milk and crushed candy canes and mix well.
Make sure that you are giving it enough time in the refrigerator before you try to cut it. It will be very hot and needs to cool down completely before it can be cut into.

When you say White chocolate chips, do you mean white baking chips or actual white chocolate chips made with cocoa butter?
