Bacon and parmesan make everything better, and Brussel sprouts are one of those vegetables that get a bad rap. I love them though. They are delicious and so easy to make!

    How To Clean Brussel Sprouts

Brussel sprouts can seem a little intimidating, but they really aren't scary!

First, cut the stem part of the Brussel sprout and discard that stem. Remove the outer leaves of the sprout that might be brown and look unhealthy.

Rinse the sprout under cold water to remove any grit that may be left on the sprout. Cut the sprout in half and place them in a medium bowl.

Let's Make Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and Parmesan!

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Wash and trim the sprouts, cut them in half, and place them in a medium bowl. Cut the bacon into pieces and cook the bacon in a saute pan 5-7 minutes until crispy.

    • Salt and Pepper To Taste

    Instructions

    • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
    • Wash and trim the Brussel sprouts. Set them aside in a medium bowl.

    • Pour the bacon grease over the Brussel sprouts. Top with the minced garlic and mix together.

    • When the Brussel sprouts are browned, carefully place them in a bowl and top with the crispy bacon and parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and serve immediately.

    Notes

    • Shredded parmesan gives this dish a cheesy kick.  If you cannot find shredded, grated parmesan cheese works as well.
