- Brussel Sprouts- One pound, washed and cleaned.
- Bacon- Use your favorite type and brand. Applewood, maple, or hickory smoked would all be delicious choices.
- Parmesan- Shredded parmesan gives a better texture and flavor than grated. If you can shred the parmesan yourself, that's even better!

How To Clean Brussel Sprouts
Brussel sprouts can seem a little intimidating, but they really aren't scary!
First, cut the stem part of the Brussel sprout and discard that stem. Remove the outer leaves of the sprout that might be brown and look unhealthy.
Rinse the sprout under cold water to remove any grit that may be left on the sprout. Cut the sprout in half and place them in a medium bowl.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Wash and trim the sprouts, cut them in half, and place them in a medium bowl. Cut the bacon into pieces and cook the bacon in a saute pan 5-7 minutes until crispy.
When the bacon is crispy, take the bacon pieces out of the pan and place them on a paper towel lined plate. Pour the bacon grease over the Brussel sprouts and add the minced garlic to the bowl. Mix everything to combine and place the sprouts on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until the sprouts are cooked through and a browned. Crispy Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and Parmesan
Ingredients
- 6 slices Bacon ½ pound
- 1 lb Brussel Sprouts Cleaned and Halved
- ½ cup Parmesan Shredded
- 2 Garlic Cloves
