- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 ½ cups Chicken Broth or vegetable broth, or water
- 2 cups Long Grain Rice
Add the olive oil to the Instant Pot. Set the Instant Pot to "saute" for 2 minutes.
Add the rice and coat the rice in the oil.
Cover the rice with the liquid. Cancel the saute function.
Close the lid and make sure the knob on the lid is set to the "sealing" position.
Press the Rice button on your Instant Pot for 10 minutes on low pressure.
After 10 minutes, carefully quick release the pressure.
Open the Instant Pot lid, fluff the rice with a fork, and serve!
- Do not wait to naturally release the pressure as this will overcook the rice and you'll end up with mushy rice.
- If your Instant Pot does not have a rice button, cook the rice on low pressure for 10 minutes.
