- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 large Egg
- ¾ cup All Purpose Flour
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set that aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the egg, Nutella, and flour. Mix on low speed until a dough forms.
With a small ice cream scoop, scoop the dough balls into your hand and roll the dough into a ball. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet.
Flatten the cookie balls with the bottom of a glass. Place the baking sheet in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until just baked. Let them cool on a wire rack.
- If you do not have a stand mixer, use a large bowl with a hand mixer. This dough does get quite stiff, so it might be difficult to mix by hand, but it's not impossible.
- Drizzle more Nutella on top of the cookies for even more Nutella flavor!
- Make a double batch! Since there are so few ingredients in this chocolate cookie, you can easily double or triple this recipe. Make a lot for your holiday cookie trays this year!
- Keep baked cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
