Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick Mix
  • 1 ⅓ cups Milk Whole Milk or 2%
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil Coconut oil or canola oil will work
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the pancake mix, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, oil, and sugar. Mix well.
  • Preheat the waffle iron over medium heat.
  • Spray the waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray or brush it with melted butter.
  • Using a ½ cup measuring cup, scoop the batter from the large bowl and pour batter into the center of hot waffle iron.
  • Close the lid of the waffle iron and let the waffle cook until the waffle iron is done and the waffles are golden brown. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Depending on the size of your waffle maker will depend on how many waffles you will get out of this batter.
  • Make sure add the waffle batter to a hot waffle iron, one that is fully preheated. This will make sure your waffles are nice and crisp.
  • If your waffle maker does not have a light that lets your know when the waffles are done, it's time to take your waffles out of the waffle iron when steam starts coming out of the iron.
  • Do not open the waffle maker once you close it. To get the crispy waffles, it's important that the waffles remain untouched until fully cooked.
  • If you are making a lot of waffles, make them and place them on a wire rack after they are done cooking. Keep them in a preheated oven, low heat to keep them warm.
  • Be very careful when taking the hot waffles out of the waffle iron.
