Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup All Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Lifeway Oat Peaches and Cream
  • ¼ cup Coconut Oil
  • ½ cup Peaches, diced Fresh, frozen, or canned

For the Glaze

  • cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Lifeway Oat Peaches and Cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Grease a donut pan well with coconut oil or cooking spray.
  • Ina large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder.  Set that aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the egg, Peach Lifeway Oat, and coconut oil.  Whisk well.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the flour and baking powder mixture. With a wooden spoon or a spatula, mix well.  Do not overmix.  There will be a few lumps in the batter.
  • Fold in the peach chunks until just incorporated.
  • Add the batter to a gallon sized Ziploc bag.  Cut off the end of the Ziploc bag and pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan.
  • Bake the donuts for 18 minutes. When a toothpick is inserted into the middle they are done.
  • When the donuts are done, take them out of the pan and place them on a wire rack to cool.
  • While the donuts cool, mix ⅓ cup of powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of Peaches and Cream Lifeway Oat.  Mix until there are no lumps.
  • Dip the donuts in the glaze when they have cooled slightly.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure to grease the donut pan well, even if it says "nonstick".
  • Take the donuts out of the pan as soon as they get out of the oven to prevent the donuts from sticking even further to the pan.
  • Use ½ cup of peaches.  You can use fresh, frozen, or canned.  Make sure to drain canned peaches before using them.
