- 3 Bananas Brown and Spotty
- 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 ½ cups Chocolate Chips OPTIONAL
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. Set that aside.
Peel the bananas and mash them well in a large bowl. Mash them until they are pureed.
Open the cake mix and pour it into the bowl. Mix the dry ingredients into the bananas and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips to the bowls and mix well.
Scoop the muffin batter into the prepared pan. Bake the muffins for 18-20 minutes and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
- The cake mix and the bananas will look dry when first mixed, but as you continue mixing it will come together and look like a muffin batter.
- Feel free to use a hand mixer if you prefer to make it easier to mix the ingredients together.
- An ice cream scoop is a helpful tool to use to make sure the muffin batter is equally divided among the muffin tins. A ¼ cup measuring cup can also be used if you don't have an ice cream scoop handy.
