- 2 cans Chick Peas 15 ounces
- ½ cup Tahini
- 1 Lemon Juiced
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha
- 1 tablespoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Drain the liquid from the chick peas and add the drained chick peas to the food processor.
Add the rest of the ingredients. Close the food processor and turn it on. Combine the ingredients until the hummus has reached the consistency you like. For a smoother hummus, give the food processor a little extra time. Taste the hummus and season with more salt and pepper if needed.
Use a rubber spatula to remove the hummus from the food processor and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- If you find that once the hummus is pureed, it is not spicy enough to your liking, feel free to add more sriracha or crushed red pepper flakes!
- Keep the hummus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Serve this hummus with fresh veggies, warm pita bread, or pita chips.
