Sourdough Waffles

These Light and Crisp Sourdough Waffles are another great way to use up some extra sourdough discard. They are light and airy on the inside while also being crisp and golden on the outside.

In a medium bowl, add the dry ingredients to the flour.

Mix well with a fork to combine the ingredients.

In a separate bowl, mix all the wet ingredients together.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.  It's ok if there are a few lumps left in the batter.

Spray the waffle maker with cooking spray and add a scoop of batter to the waffle maker.

Cook the waffles according to the waffle maker instructions.  Enjoy with whipped cream, butter, and maple syrup!
